Jason Mraz (photo) has won Best Male Pop Vocal Performance for his single "Make It Mine" in the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards held last night, January 31, 2010.

He and Colbie Caillat also won as Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals for their duet "Lucky".

The night's big winner was actually Beyonce who picked up a total of 6 Grammy Awards, which is now the new record for being the most Grammys won by a female recording artist in a single awarding ceremonies. Last night, Beyonce won Song Of The Year, Best Female Pop Vocal Performance, Best Female R&B Vocal Performance, Best Traditional R&B Vocal Performance, Best R&B Song and Best Contemporary R&B Album.

Beyonce now has a total of 16 Grammy Awards, which is the 3rd highest for a female artist in Grammy history. Currently 1st and 2nd highest are Alison Krauss with 28 Grammys and Aretha Franklin with 18.

She has also entered the Top 10 Artists (Male & Female) with the most Grammys won ever. She's now in 9th place.

NBA star Greg Oden dirty pictures circulate on Twitter

For exactly a week now, dirty pictures of NBA star Gregory Wayne Oden Jr. or simply Greg Oden have been circulating on Twitter and also anywhere on the web.

Greg has at least 3 scandalous photos available online and the NBA star who plays for Portland Trail Blazers has admitted that he is indeed the shirtless black guy in the self-shot cellphone photos.

As seen in the sample picture above, Greg is shirtless with slightly-dropped shorts in one photo, then the shorts lowered down in the second photo until he becomes totally unclothed in the last photo.

Greg stands 7 feet, so expect more than 7 inches footlong in the pics.

Those who have seen the photos describe them as hot, yummy and delicious.

According to Greg, the photo was taken in 2009 as a present for his girlfriend.

He immediately apologized to everyone for the photo scandal: "First, I would like to apologize to everybody, Portland, fans, the organization. It was very embarrassing. It was something that happened over a year and a half ago. It was taken and sent over a year and a half ago. I'm very sorry and I'm definitely embarrassed for my family and everybody around me."

It's also interesting to note that the pictures circulated three days after Greg celebrated his 22nd birthday last January 22.

PBB Double Up: Who's your Big Winner?

It's now your turn to choose the Big Winner of Pinoy Big Brother Double Up.

Starting tonight, the public will now vote for the housemate who they think deserve to be called the Big Winner.

Who among Melisa, Jason, Paul Jake, Johan, Tibo and Mariel is your Big Winner? To vote: just type BBS <name of housemate> then send it to 2331 for Globe, TM, Sun and Bayan Wireless subscribers or 231 for Smart and TNT users.

Whoever gets the lowest votes by Saturday, February 6, will be the last evictee of this season while the rest will join 'Big Jump to the Big 5' winner Melisa Cantiveros in the Big 5.

The voting for the Big Winner starts tonight until the Big Night on Feb. 13 to be held at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium.

Meanwhile, the 6 remaining housemates were asked tonight to name two housemates who should be evicted from the house:

Melisa = Paul Jake and Tibo
Paul Jake = Mariel and Johan
Johan = Tibo and Paul Jake
Tibo = Jason and Paul Jake
Jason = Tibo and Paul Jake
Mariel = Paul Jake and Tibo

Ian Batherson bids goodbye on Starstruck V

Fil-Am model Ian Magistrado Batherson has been automatically eliminated on Starstruck V after being part of the Bottom Group for the 3rd time.

Ian also got the lowest combined scores from the Council and the voters, saving Rocco Nacino and Steven Silva, who were also in the Bottom 3, from being eliminated.

This commercial model born in Germany has a Pinay mom from Iriga City, Camarines Sur. Last September, he modeled for Cosmopolitan Magazine as
one of its 69 Bachelors.

With good looks, talent and charm to back him up, Ian, who just turned 21 last January 14, will definitely go a long way in showbiz.

As for the remaining 6 Starstruck contenders, one will be eliminated next week and the five will form part of the Final 5. Yes (just like PBB's Big 5), Starstruck will have a Final 5 Survivors during the Final Judgment on February 21, 2010 at the Araneta Coliseum. I have a strong feeling that they will have a wildcard contender because of this new development.

Big 5 on the Big Night of PBB Double Up

Pinoy Big Brother has just made a big announcement, which is another first in PBB history. Instead of the usual Big 4, there will be a Big 5 during the Big Night happening on February 13, 2010 at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium.

After surviving tonight's eviction, Melisa Cantiveros has officially jumped to 'Big 5' which is her reward to the challenge she won a few days back. Four among Jason Francisco, Paul Jake Castillo, Johan Santos, Tibo Jumalon and Mariel Soriño will join Melisa in the Big 5 and it will be revealed after the season's last eviction on Saturday, February 6.

During the eviction tonight, we saw La Señora ng España Kathleen Lopeña-Ortego or Mommy Kath to her fellow housemates being evicted from the PBB house after she got the lowest percentage of votes. Mommy Kath entered the house with husband Jimson
Ortega last October, but Jimson was the first to be evicted from the house, leaving Kath inside. She stayed longer, survived two evictions and reached this far which is just two weeks away from the Big 5 until she got evicted tonight.

Mommy Kath is being considered the nicest housemate this season.

Here's the results:

VOTES TO SAVE (VTS):
1. Melisa 24.73%
2. Jason 22.56%
3. Paul Jake 20.57%

Manny Villar 2010 song has a gay version

The campaign jingle of Senator Manny Villar for his 2010 Presidential bid is beautiful to hear, has a meaningful message and with great "recall" especially to the kids out there.

But the beautiful song has 2 new versions, which are actually spoofs that have been sent around in text messages.

If Sen. Villar gets praises in the original song, the 2010 Presidential Candidate gets mocked in one version while the other spoof is a gay version.

THE ORIGINAL SONG LYRICS

THIRD VERSION (GAY VERSION)

Meanwhile, have you seen Senator Noynoy Aquino's political ad with a new campaign jingle on it?

The Noynoy song is entitled "Siya Na Nga" and just like the Villar song, it's also a beautiful campaign jingle:

Here's some of the song lyrics:

"Gising na mahal kong bayan
Siya na nga, maari kang tumaya
Sa pagtanggol ng kalayaan, kasama ka sa
Laban na tapat, laban ng lahat.

Chorus:
Siya na nga! Walang bahid, walang duda
Buhay muli ang pag-asang minimithi
Siya na nga (Siya na nga!) Walang bahid, walang duda
Tanggalin ang tiwali, itatama ang mali
Siya na nga (Siya na nga!) Walang bahid, walang duda
Buhayin muli ang pag-asang minimithi
Siya na nga (Siya na nga!) Walang bahid, walang duda
Tanggalin ang tiwali, itatama ang mali"

We wouldn't be surprised if one day, the Noynoy song will also have its own spoof.

Melai and Jason are both nominated for eviction

For the first time, the Melason loveteam, Melisa 'Melai' Cantiveros and Jason Francisco are both up for eviction from the PBB house this
coming Saturday.

Jason, who makes a record for being the most nominated housemate of PBB Double Up (6 times, a record he actually shares with ex-housemate Carol Batay - Thanks hironakamura007!), has been given an automatic nomination by Tibo Jumalon, this week's Head of Household.

Tibo justified his move by saying that he's just giving back the favor to Jason, who gave him automatic 3 points during one nomination.

As for Melai, it's only her 2nd time to be nominated and we shall see on Saturday who will get more votes between Melai and Jason.

Joining the Melason in the nominees list are 2nd timer Paul Jake
Castillo, 3rd timer Kath Lopeña and 4th timer Johan Santos.

Mariel and Tibo are the only housemates who are safe from eviction this week.

WHO NOMINATED MELAI: Johan, Mariel and Paul Jake
WHO NOMINATED PAUL JAKE: Jason, Melai and Kath
WHO NOMINATED KATH: Jason, Mariel and Paul Jake
WHO NOMINATED JOHAN: Melai and Kath

With this line-up of nominees, PBB for sure will get lots of income from text votes this week and also expect the highest text votes ever the show will get this season.

Rox Montealegre is eliminated from Starstruck V

On Starstruck V Live Elimination earlier, Roxanne 'Rox' Montealegre has been sent home when she got the lowest combined scores from the text and online votes, the council and mentors.

Rox is the 19-year-old Dean's Lister student from Ateneo de Manila University who sacrificed her studies just to pursue her Starstruck dream.

Also in the Bottom Group tonight were Steven Silva and Enzo Pineda.

It was also announced on the last part of the show that starting tonight, the 7 survivors will now live under one roof and experience the Starstruck life. They will live in a quarters called Starstruck 1110, where they will also have rules to follow and tests that they have to pass.

After watching their live performances during the elimination night, here's how I rank the 7 remaining Starstruck Survivors: 1. Rocco 2. Ian 3. Diva 4. Enzo
5. Nina 6. Sarah 7. Steven

Kim Chiu had her first kiss at 14

It's a known fact that Kim Chiu already had a boyfriend before she met Gerald Anderson. Thus, it's possible that Kim already experienced her first kiss just like most teeners out there.

During the two's guesting on The Buzz earlier to promote their movie "Paano Na Kaya", Kim could not resist answering Kris Aquino's question about her "kiss experience" other than with Gerald, whom she has kissed many times on TV and in their new movie.

Kim gamely shared that she had been kissed on the lips when she was only 14 years old (katorse!).

"Testing lang po 'yun!" Kim told Kris, who plays her mom on the TV series 'Kung Tayo'y Magkakalayo'.

After her shocking admission, Kim felt shy of what she revealed especially when Kris said, "Tinalbogan mo 'ko!".

Gerald, on one hand, divulged that Kim isn't ready yet to enter into a serious relationship with him but he's willing to wait. Yesterday, during their Entertainment Live guesting, Gerald revealed that they are now in a "super duper MU" stage.

As support to the Kimerald loveteam, Kris also announced on The Buzz that she and husband James Yap will attend the movie premiere on Tuesday night at SM Megamall Cinema 10. It will be the first time that the public will see the controversial couple together again after the "Mayen Cupcakes Controversy" more than a week ago.

"Paano Na Kaya" opens on Wednesday, January 27, in theaters nationwide.

Meet the A-Pop: Sam Concepcion, Young JV, Jaco and Nel

From L-R: Nel Gomez, Young JV, Jaco Benin and Sam Concepcion

Due to positive feedbacks from the televiewers, the four talented teen cuties who performed on ASAP XV two weeks ago are now members of an
all-new group called "A-POP".

A-Pop, whose members include Sam Concepcion, Jaco Benin, Nel Gomez and Young JV, has been officially launched on ASAP XV today after they made a debut performance last January 10 and another one with international singing sensation Charice Pempengco last January 17 in the same show.

Sam, the most well-known of the four, leads the group along with Iloilo's RnB/Hip-Hop pride Young JV or Eduardo JV Kapunan III.

Sam is also a member of another group called "Gigger Boys" but unlike the Gigger Boys who dances most of the time, the A Pop is a sing-and-dance group because all four members are really great singers and dancers. In fact, Young JV sang the 2009 hit song and MYX chart topper "That Girl".

Fil-Colombian Nel Gomez, who won the MYX VJ Search 2009, can also sing so well while Jaco Benin, who looks like Twilight's Taylor Lautner, is an acoustic singer who in the past usually performed with his friends Krissy & Ericka.

JV, Jaco and Nel are all 19 years old while Sam is the little bro who's only 17 years old.

Meanwhile, after the Task Force Resbak Attack chuchu, Kuya has introduced the "house players ng bayan" who he calls as Kuya's Darlings consisting of Rica Paras, Princess Manzon and Yuri Okawa.

Just like in the previous PBB editions, they will pretend as official housemates but they will actually be given special tasks as decided by Kuya and you, the show's viewers.

Introducing Nico Cordova

During the press conference for the Masculados Dos yesterday at the Dulcinea, Nico Cordova was the press favorite and stood out among the 7 members.

Not surprising though because Nico, who just turned 21 last November, is the youngest and freshest of them all.

Nico is currently not in a "serious" relationship right now. Apply kayo?

Kim and Gerald are bestfriends in "Paano Na Kaya?"

Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson play bestfriends-turned-lovers in "Paano Na Kaya?", Star Cinema's opening salvo for 2010.

The story of the movie reminds us of John Lloyd Cruz-Bea Alonzo starrer "Close To You" where the two played bestfriends. John Lloyd's character however is secretly in love with Bea's, but Bea is goin' after Sam Milby.

In the Kimerald movie, it's the other way around. Kim Chiu as Mae is secretly falling in love with Bogs (Gerald Anderson) but the latter has a girlfriend played by Melissa Ricks.

When Bogs and gf broke up, Mae came to the rescue and entered into a "rebound relationship" with Bogs.

Showing in theaters on January 27th, the movie also stars Mr. Ricky Davao, Ms. Rio Locsin, Rica Peralejo, Janus Del Prado, Alwyn Uytingco, IC Mendoza, Jon Avila, Cai Cortez, Empoy Marquez, Guji Lorenzana and Ms Zsazsa Padilla.

The film, which is directed by Ruel S. Bayani, also introduces Robi Domingo, who just like Kim and Gerald, is also a PBB Teen Edition ex-housemate.

All-male Masculados Dos ready to spice up the Year of the Tiger

They're back!

The all-male sing and dance group Masculados is definitely back this 2010.

Now called the Masculados Dos, the group, now with fresher and younger members,
already had a soft launching last December and for this Year of the Tiger, they are promising to become wilder and hotter.

Three original members are retained:

Robin Robel

Lexter Lazaro

and Enrico Mofar

while 4 new members are being introduced in Masculados Dos. And they are:

Ozu Ong

Orlando Sol

Nico Cordova

and Dart Kamboozia

Orlando Sol is also an indie film actor while Dart Kamboozia was a Bodyshots 2008 finalist and among the Cosmo Bachelors for 2008.

The group which is managed by multi-awarded filmmaker Maryo J. Delos Reyes, has a new album called "Masculados Repacked" under Universal Records.

I have already watched the teaser of their music video for the carrier single "Ganda Ganda, Sexy, Sexy" shot on a beach in Bohol and definitely one testosterone-filled video. Here's a teasher shot:

Welcome back guys!

Kenny replaces Tom on PBB Double Up's Resbak Attack

It was announced on PBB Uplate last night that a member of the Task Force Resbak Attack has opted to leave the house instead of joining the team in being harsh and mean to the 8 remaining housemates.

And guess who left?

It's Tom Rodriguez (Tom Mott) who during his time as housemate was given a forced eviction for his unintentional "violent" action.

And this time around, he and Kuya made a mutual decision that Tom would just leave the house because he could not withstand doing psy-war against the other housemates.

Tom also has prior commitments, probably his unfinished shoot for Precious Hearts Romances: My Cheating Heart and he's about to start shooting for his first movie Babe, I Love You under Star Cinema.

While I feel sad with Tom's departure, I am happier to know that Kenny Santos has replaced Tom in the Resbak Attack team.

Yes, Kenny is definitely back and he owns that round, firm butt in the 24/7 live feed screenshot below:

And that is why, Rica Paras was spotted going behind him and so "gigil". Look:

Pilot Ratings: 'Kung Tayo'y Magkakalayo' opens with 34.4%

The successful tandem of Kim Chiu and Gerald scored another victory when their latest soap "Kung Tayo'y Magkakalayo" recorded a rating of 34.4% in Mega Manila (AGB) during its January 19, 2010 pilot.

By far, it is the highest pilot rating for a Kimerald teleserye, beating Tayong Dalawa's 30.8% rating last January 19, 2009 and Sana Maulit Muli's 31.5% last January 8, 2007.

'Kung Tayo'y Magkakalayo' was able to beat its competition last night, with a 2.7 difference over "The Last Prince", but it was not the #1 primetime program that day.

The most watched program last night was GMA 7's 24 Oras, with 35.7%, probably due to the reports about Jason Ivler's arrest drama yesterday.

Kim and Gerald are yet to appear in the said soap, thus the success of the pilot episode should also be well-credited to Ms. Kris Aquino, Gabby Concepcion and Albert Martinez who all appeared in the first episode.

Where to buy Mayen Austria's cupcakes

A lot of people are asking where they can buy Mayen Austria's cupcakes.

I really have no idea.

It all started when Kris Aquino revealed on The Buzz last Sunday that she and James ordered cupcakes and cookies from Mayen Austria, who is rumored as James' new girl. (Read: Kris-James-Mayen love triangle)

Some of James Yap's team mates in PBA Purefoods also mentioned in one interviews that Mayen, who happens to be the team's longtime fan, brought some cupcakes during one of their games.

PEP also reported yesterday that Mayen Austria is indeed into cupcake business and sending cupcakes to some Purefoods players was only a "marketing strategy".

"Nagpapadala nga siya ng mga cupcakes, pero kahit sa ibang players ng Purefoods [Tender Juicy Giants]. Hindi lang kay James Yap," source told PEP.

And now, some people also want to try those cupcakes.

For sure, Mayen is receiving lots of orders now. What do you think?

The guy with Mommy Dionisia Pacquiao

Wow, Mommy Dionisia Pacquiao looks like a blooming young lady!

So, who's the guy who gets so close with Mommy D in the picture?

The guy is a Cebuano model and show/musical dancer/instructor named Rhamric Simpron.

I remember one article on Pilipino Star Ngayon published last year that Mommy Dionisia allegedly had a dance instructor boylet aging 20+ (at sinugod daw ni Manny Pacquiao). But maybe, Rhamric is not the dance instructor being referred to in the news.

Rhamric is 23 years old and joined Hari ng Negros 2009 where he was named Duke of Negros or the pageant's equivalent to 2nd Runner Up.

'Showtime' is back on January 19 - Yes! Finally!

After being suspended by the MTRCB last January 11, ABS-CBN's morning show "Showtime" will be back starting tomorrow, January 19, 2010.

That is after the Court of Appeals has issued the Temporary Restraining Order (TRO) dated last Friday, January 15, 2010, lifting the 20-day preventive suspension given by the MTRCB to "Showtime".

The show's hosts Vhong Navarro, Anne Curtis and Kim Atienza happily announced this good news to the televiewers earlier on "Magpasikat", which temporarily replaced "Showtime".

Here's a portion of the resolution made by the Court of Appeals:

"For reasons afore-stated, and as prayed for by petitioner, let a TEMPORARY RESTRAINING ORDER be issued, as it is hereby issued, effective sixty (60) days from notice hereof, enjoining respondent MTRCB, including any and all persons acting in their behalf and under their command and authority, from continuing to enforce the Preventive Suspension Order dated January 11, 2010 issued against petitioner, pending the resolution of the instant petition."

Now this makes me truly happy!

But I hope the show will be extra careful this time by choosing the right judges and to remind its resident judge Vice Ganda to also guard himself in saying very insulting words to the contestants and also, "double meaning" words/lines like "buhok sa ngipin" etc.

He also constantly described group performances as "Hayop!" as if he was throwing a curse to them.

Nonetheless, I'm so excited that "Showtime" back on TV and see some changes in the show.

13th set of nominees on PBB Double Up

Steve 'Tibo' Jumalon, Kathleen 'Kath' Lopeña, Johan Santos and Hermes Bautista have been named as nominees during the 13th Nomination Night of PBB Double Up.

WHO NOMINATED TIBO: Kath, Jason and Melai
WHO NOMINATED KATH: Mariel, Paul Jake and Tibo
WHO NOMINATED JOHAN: Jason, Paul Jake and Melai

NOMINATION HIGHLIGHTS:

Hermes, as the "kulelat" during the HOH game, has opted to automatically nominate himself.

Kath and Melai nominated Tibo because he's "nagmamalinis" while Jason said he's acting like a "hari" in the house.

Tibo nominated Kath coz she's "plastic" while Paul Jake and Melai voted against Johan due to his "pikunin" self.

Johan meanwhile could not hide his ill-feelings against Jason when he nominated the latter because he's "bastos", "sinungaling" and knows nothing but "kalokohan" inside the big brother house.

It's the 2nd time that Kath is nominated while Hermes, Tibo and Johan are all 3rd timers.

***

The "PINAKA" awards have also been revealed last night, as voted by the housemates themselves:

Pinaka-Pa-Cute - Hermes
Pinaka-Nagmamarunong- Tibo
Pinaka-Nakakairita - Melisa
Pinaka-Mayabang - Paul Jake
Pinaka-Bastos - Jason
Pinaka-Maarte - Paul Jake
Pinaka-Pikon - Johan

Catherine 'Cathy' Remperas of Cebu (ang babaeng pinag-aagawan nina Johan Santos at Hermes Bautista) has been evicted from the PBB house tonight.

2. Cathy 10.40%
3. Tibo 4.74%

2. Tibo 2.32%
3. Mariel -3.55%
4. Hermes -10.43%
5. Cathy -13.54% - EVICTED

After tonight's results, the Big 4 this season becomes predictable. Possible Big 4 (in this order): 1. Melisa 2. Jason 3. Johan 4. Paul Jake

But Mommy Kath might be a surprise inclusion.

Cathy has been voted out by the public, but she's not actually evicted from the house because she'll join 7 other ex-housemates for the "Resbak Attack". Along with Cathy are Princess Manzon, Delio Dimaculangan, Tom Rodriguez, Yuri Okawa, Rob Stumvoll, Patrick Villanueva and Rica Paras. (How sad! No Carol and Kenny)

For now, they will stay in House B and will be given special tasks to test the characters of the 8 remaining housemates.

Mayen Austria is the new 'Hope'

After the 'Hope Controversy' in 2007, there's a new marital issue involving Ms. Kris Aquino & PBA cager James Yap.

News reports say that Kris allegedly made a scene at the residence of Mayen Austria who is rumored as James' new girl.

Mataray raw ang dating ni Kris nang sumugod ito, sabi nung isang kasambahay ng mga Austria.

Who's really Mayen? Gf daw ito ng friend ni James, but his PBA team mates say she's just a die-hard fan na minsa'y nagdala ng cupcake kay James. Other reports say she's James texmate & Kris' highschool batchmate. Which is which?

Dineny naman ni Kris na nag-eskandalo siya sa bahay ni Mayen, na incidentally ay malapit lang pala sa bahay nila ni James.

Here's Kris' official statement: "In my 25years of being in the public eye, nobody can ever say that it is in my nature na magmura or gumawa ng iskandalo. I didn't shout or create a commotion. The mother of the woman cited in the Inquirer article graciously came to their gate & we had a peaceful conversation. I simply made my discomfort known about her daughter's actuations towards my husband.

"My family received the text that Ms. Mayen Austria sent around. In it, she admitted to having 'chemical depression & could easily take an overdose of pills.' My
brother & sisters advised me not to speak further about the issue because it would not be compassionate to dwell further on the issue because of Ms. Austria's mental state," she said.

But for sure, even if Kris refused to comment further, the issue won't just die down easily.

Samantala, hot topic naman ang pinost ni Ruffa Gutierrez, co-host ni Kris sa The Buzz, sa kanyang Twitter account.

Ruffa tweeted, "What would you do if you caught your husband/bf cheating on you? Would you fight for him? Fight the girl, the boy or both? leave him?"

Then she asked further, "If it's the other woman that keeps calling/giving initiative to your man...umiiwas siya but in the end na-tempt din. What do you do?"

Personal experience kaya 'yun ni Ruffa?
