Tom Rodriguez got the highest number of votes in Mykiru's Hottest Hunks Poll for March 2011.









The former PBB housemate and Marian Rivera's leading man in the upcoming film "Temptation Island" had a wide lead over the 2nd hottest, Zanjoe Marudo.

Tom had 11.49% of the total votes while Zanjoe had exactly 9%.

There were 20 hunks in our March 2011 poll, but only 10 of them have qualified for our annual poll.

Hottie Kevin James Sisco on Pilipinas Got Talent Season 2

This cutie, hottie guy named Kevin James Sisco has auditioned on Pilipinas Got Talent Season 2, as shown on tonight's episode.







What can you say?

Kevin James Sisco is 20 years old from San Francisco, California.

For his PGT audition, he performed a song and the crowd loved it (I guess the viewers too.). But the judges weren't one in giving a "yes" to him.

Sir FMG and Ai-Ai delas Alas gave him "YES" but Kris Aquino surprisingly said "NO". (Why Kris?)

But 2 "yes" is enough, so Kevin James is moving to the next round.

I think he's Markki Stroem of the Season.

According to bbdivine who posted the photos above at Missossology forum last September, Kevin James is Fil-Italian and was discovered by Arnold Vegafria (manager of PGT host Billy Crawford.)

"Pinoy You Got It" concert tour starts July 23, 2010

Pilipinas Got Talent Grand Winner Jovit Baldivino will be launching his debut album via a concert at the Cuneta Astrodome on July 23, 2010.



Produced by Maximusic and Star Records, the concert is dubbed "Pinoy You Got It" and Jovit isn't actually the only one who will be launching an album there but also three other PGT finalists.

Ezra Band, Markki Stroem and Sherwin Baguio, together in one album, will join Jovit in the concert.

Juris will be the very special guest in the concert, which also features PGT finalists Ingrid Payaket and Keith Clark Delleva.

Ticket costs: P150, P250, P575 for Free Seating and P750, P1,000 for Reserve Seats.

What's so good about this concert is that you get a free CD album of your choice for every P575 ticket or free autographed CDs for every P750 and P1,000 ticket.

Pinoy You Got It is actually a nationwide concert tour which will be staged not only in Metro Manila but also in some parts of the country.

Pilipinas Got Talent Grand Finalists Poll: Who are your bets?

12 finalists will compete on the grand finals of Pilipinas Got Talent this June 12 & 13, 2010 at the Araneta Coliseum.

The grand finale performance night is on Saturday, June 12 while the final results night happens Sunday, June 13.

Of the 12 grand finalists, 9 are from Luzon, 1 from the Visayas and 2 from Mindanao. And 50% of them are singers, only 2 are dancers, 1 ventriloquist, 1 magician, 1 electric guitarist and 1 violinist.

Markki Stroem Underwear Photo Scandal

Pilipinas Got Talent Grand Finalist Markki Stroem has reacted on his underwear photos found on the net.

Markki said to SNN last night that he's a bit ashamed of his underwear pictures because he's proving himself as a musician and not supposed to come out sexy in an underwear.

Markki's sexy pics actually were first posted here on Mykiru ( http://mykiru.blogspot.com/2010/03/markki-stroem-on-pilipinas-got-talent.html ).

Markki's audition was shown on PGT Feb. 28 episode and when I learned that he modeled at the Bench event in the Philippine Fashion Week Holiday '09, I eagerly looked for it at the Flickr page of photographers Bruce Casanova and Jory Rivera even if it would cost me to look for it one by one out of a hundred pictures of male underwear models.

Now, the picture has been picked up and edited in other blog sites, scrapping off the other models in the background, to make it appear Markki posed for a private pictorial which was obviously not.

Markki also told SNN that as a musician, he'd be extra careful and conservative the next time.

Oh that's sad! Don't be ashamed Markki! You have something to be proud of!

Even SNN host Kris Aquino, who admires Markki a lot, encouraged him to flaunt what he has, citing Asian Pop Idol Christian Bautista, who posed sexy for Bench recently, as an example.

Markki was just among the unidentified models in the said fashion show and maybe in the next Bench fashion show, he'll be walking the runway already as one of its top celebrity endorsers.

Alakim and Markki Stroem make it to the PGT Grand Finals

Allan 'Alakim' De Paz and Markki Stroem, both from Quezon City , have advanced to the grand finals of Pilipinas Got Talent.

Alakim, a magician, was the choice of the voters while Markki, a singer on piano, was the judges' choice.

I almost got exactly the rankings of the 6 Week 2 semi-finalists. (I got 100% in Week 1)

I predicted last night that Markki will top the votes with Alakim in 2nd place. Actual results turned out to be the other way around.


WEEK 2 SEMIFINALS RESULTS:
1. Allan de Paz or Alakim of Quezon City 28.49% - VOTERS' CHOICE
2. Markki Stroem of Quezon City 25.32% - JUDGES' CHOICE
3. Kapidamu Band of Atimonan, Quezon 17.18%
4. Garrett Devan Bolden Jr of Olongapo City 15.77%
5. Mae Lozada & Anselmo Estillore of Cebu 9.06%
6. Florante Inutan of Davao 4.19%

I hope PGT will have a wildcald round and give another chance to Rolando Permangil from last week and the Kapidamu Band of this week. I also love those two.

Alakim and Markki now join Week 1 winners Jovit Baldivino from Batangas and Ruther Urquia from Las Piñas City in the grand finals.

Next week, May 15, the next set of semi-finalists are Rolando Ng III of Cagayan De Oro, Joel 'BM or Big Mouth' Amper of Manila, Alexis Carpena of Laguna, Maria Jeline Oliva of Naga City, Manolito 'Manoling' Saldivar of Dumaguete and Luntayao Family of Negros Occidental.

Markki Stroem sings 'Ordinary People' on PGT 2nd Semi-Final Round

Haay! Markki Stroem didn't disappoint me.


On Pilipinas Got Talent's Week 2 Semi-Finals held tonight, Fil-Norwegian hottie Markki Stroem sang John Legend's "Ordinary People" and it sounded so good.


Markki also surprised everyone as he also showcased his talent in playing the piano while singing, which he never did during the audition.


His vocals tonight sounded so much better than his previous performance when he sang 'Anak'. Definitely, Markki is on top of my list and will surely top in the votes.


Actually, Markki belonged to a competitive batch. I'm torn between Kapidamu Band and magician Alakim as to who should join Markki in the grand finals.


But I think I have to choose Alakim over Kapidamu. As what FMG said last week, PGT needs a variety of talent. Pero sana silang tatlo na lang!


As for the other semi-finalists, Garrett Bolden Jr did a flawless rendition of 'Ikaw'. The quality of voice is commendable, but it was the same song he sang during the screening. For me, I think he should have tried out another song. The dancing duo, Mae & Anselmo was great, but not the best. The human saxophone meanwhile was misplaced. He should have not made it to the semis.

Pilipinas Got Talent Top 36 semi-finalists revealed

There were a total of 220 contestants who passed the 1st phase of
audition on Pilipinas Got Talent (PGT), but only 36 of them were
chosen as semi-finalists, who will battle it out on the semis starting
next weekend.


As revealed on PGT last night, 17 of the 36 semifinalists are from
Visayas and Mindanao. They are: (in order of announcement)

PGT Top 36: Are these cuties included?

More than a hundred Pilipinas Got Talent contestants who passed the nationwide auditions have faced the judges once more just recently, but only 36 of them have been selected as semi-finalists.


And only 2 of the 4 cuties above have made it to the Top 36. It feels sad 'coz I've been eyeing on all of those four pa naman.


But it's ok. At least, there's still 2 male cuties in the game. Wanna know who's the lucky 2?


I won't tell coz it's more exciting for you to know it on April 24 and 25 as the 'next round' airs on Pilipinas Got Talent. Just a clue? One is Pure Pinoy, the other is Half-Pinoy.


Now do you want to make sure that mega favorite Jovit Baldivino is part of the Top 36? Ye's he's IN!

Markki Stroem joins Pilipinas Got Talent on ABS-CBN

On last night's Pilipinas Got Talent episode, Fil-Norwegian Marcello Angelo "Markki or Markky" Ledesma Stroem was among the applicants who passed the 1st round of audition.

Comedy Concert Queen Ai-Ai delas Alas, who sits as one of the judges of the show, could not hide her admiration to Markki, who sang his own version of Freddie Aguilar hit "Anak".

She even asked Markki if "pumapatol siya sa matatanda" and the heart-throb material Markki gamely said "yes". In return, Ai-Ai gave a "yes" to his performance.

Markki is truly a promising talent. He is managed by Erick Raymundo, who also manages Sam Milby and Richard Poon. We wouldn't be surprised if he'd also hit bigtime in the music scene.

In 2006, Markki joined Philippine Idol on ABC 5 and you know what? He also sang "Anak" there. He passed the first audition but withdrew during the next round to pursue his studies. I hope he won't have another reason to withdraw on Pilipinas Got Talent.

Markki, who's 22 years old and stands 5'11", finished his Marketing Studies at the Glion Institute of Higher Education in Switzerland last year and now wants to have his own business someday.

Apart from being a future singing sensation, Markki is also a promising model on the runway. Last year, he modeled for Bench in the Philippine Fashion Week Holiday 2009. (See last two pictures below)
