Veteran character actor Charlie Davao has died this Sunday morning, at 11:30, after 8 months of battling with colon cancer.
His death was confirmed to GMA News by friend Kuya Germs Moreno.
Charlie was 76 years old.
Father to actors Ricky and Bing Davao, Charlie was last seen on TV shows like Totoy Bato, Sinenovela Presents: Ngayon At Kailanman, Rosalinda and Darna, all shown on GMA 7 last year.
But I remember him more as Don Ricardo in "Mula Sa Puso" and as Mayor in "Sa Piling Mo", both aired on ABS-CBN.
