"Lilay" marks the comeback movie of Kenjie, who opted to finish his studies first after he starred in the 2008 gay indie film "Ang Lihim
ni Antonio". The movie gave him nods from the PMPC Star Awards and Golden Screen Awards the next year, and a Best Actor award from Gran Canaria Int'l GLBT Film Festival 2010 in Spain last January.
