Sarah Geronimo and Cristine Reyes both showed up at the ABS-CBN Christmas 2010 Special held in Araneta Coliseum last night, December
14, 2010.
The event marked the first public appearance of Sarah and Cristine after the Twitter controversy which sparked last Sunday. It's also the first time that the two were spotted in just one event after what happened on Twitter.
Did Sarah and Cristine cross paths at Araneta?
Maybe not, 'coz for sure they tried to avoid each other as much as possible. If yes, then probably it's either they will ignore each other or they confront each other.
Sarah had at least 3 numbers at the ABS-CBN Christmas Special. She sang during the opening along with Gary V, Zsa Zsa Padilla, Christian Bautista, Vina Morales, Jed Madela, Erik Santos, Yeng Constantino, Rhap Salazar and Arnel Pineda. She had another number this time with the UST Singers and also performed for the show's finale.
While Cristine was included in the number for the "Teleserye Loveteams". She was paired of course with her "Kristine" leading man Zanjoe Marudo and performed along with Anne Curtis-Jericho Rosales, Vhong Navarro-Toni Gonzaga and John Lloyd Cruz-Bea Alonzo.
But immediately after that number, a rumor began to circulate on Twitter that Cristine allegedly got booed during her number and spotted crying backstage after that. Oh no! Really?
Star Cinema adprom manager Roxy Liquigan, who was present at the event, was quick to deny this. "Not true. Palakpakan din kay Cristine. For the record, maraming fans si Cristine Reyes sa Araneta :)," Roxy said on Twitter.
We will know if it's true once the ABS-CBN Christmas 2010 Special is aired on TV this December 18 and 19, at 9:30 PM on ABS-CBN 2.
