The full trailer for ABS-CBN's upcoming "inspirational" soap 100 Days to Heaven has been released. The new soap stars Ms. Coney Reyes and child sensation Xyriel Manabat, both playing the role of Madam Anna. Huh?

"100 Days to Heaven" also stars Jodi Sta. Maria, Dominic Ochoa, Rafael Rosell, Valerie Concepcion, Smokey Manaloto, Louis Abuel and Neil Coleta (Nicos of Nestea TVC).
Doing a special participation for the series are Sam Milby, Vice Ganda, Pokwang, Jason Abalos, Shaina Magdayao, Empress, Xian Lim, Mark Gil, Felix Roco, Noel Trinidad and Ms. Gloria Romero (in her last Kapamilya show before moving to GMA 7).
It was actually a close fight between Maricar (photo above) and new SanMig Light babe Sam Pinto, who both have 9%+ of the total votes, while already in far 3rd is Jessy Mendiola who made our weekday afternoons hot in the just-concluded "Sabel".

The Ruffa Gutierrez-John Lloyd Cruz-Shaina Magdayao love triangle continues this 2011 with the news that Ruffa allegedly received a recent call from Shaina. Ruffa Gutierrez had a special relationship with John Lloyd Cruz who's now a boyfriend to Shaina Magdayao.
And therefore, Shaina calling Ruffa could be about John Lloyd.
According to tabloid reports, Shaina called Ruffa at 2AM, but it's unknown why she called, when it happened and who told them about it.
Pep.ph reported yesterday that Tweetbiz host Tim Yap asked Ruffa thru text about the tabloid reports and she confirmed that she indeed got a call from Shaina at 2 in the morning while she was already sleeping.
"Realllyyy? Who said?? Yes she called but I were half asleep next to my girls (hellow it was 2 am!) so I couldn't talk. Simply told her that if she had a problem...to go ask JL not me. That's all I'm gonna say Timmie. Pasensya na. Kaloka!" Ruffa told Tim thru text.
Though Ruffa did not reveal the exact reason why Shaina called or if the latter was confrontational to her, there's a rumor going on that Shaina was allegedly crying when she called Ruffa.
Shaina allegedly was suspecting Ruffa still communicating with her boyfriend JL.
It's unknown where Shaina got Ruffa's number or if she was using JL's phone when she called.
I think Ruffa needs to change her number, what do you think?
Because if Shaina indeed called Ruffa, it's very possible that JL also knows Ruffa's number and as long as the communication between Ruffa and JL is open, Shaina won't have peace of mind and will be worrying again and again.
Shaina hasn't reacted yet but just today, Star Magic, who manages Shaina, has released a short statement confirming that the two indeed talked on the phone. "Yes, it's true. The ladies had a private and cordial talk."
Ruffa meanwhile posted on Twitter yesterday that she's not gonna dwell more on the issue. "For those waiting for my pasabog or tell-all...I'm soooo sorry to disappoint you but it's not gonna happen. You can wonder & guess all you want, give your blatant opinions, sweet or violent reactions but at the end of the day tweeties it's our lives, our happiness & frankly none of anyone business."
She also tweeted a meaningful message, borrowing a quote from Julia Roberts. "I believe that if two people are connected at the heart...it doesn't matter what you do or who you are or where you live. THERE ARE NO BOUNDARIES OR BARRIERS IF THE PEOPLE ARE DESTINED TO BE TOGETHER."
Is it just a plain message? Or is Ruffa referring to JL and Shaina? Or could it be about her and JL?

Shaina Magdayao's soap "Alyna" on ABS-CBN has a new timeslot starting last Monday, January 3, 2011. It's now airing at 5:15 PM, the timeslot previously occupied by "Shoutout" which took over the timeslot left by "Down With Love".
While the timeslot may be good 'coz "Alyna" becomes a pre-program to the network's Primetime Bida block, some fans of Shaina or the followers of the show outside Metro Manila are unhappy with it.
Why?
Because the 5:15 timeslot of Alyna is only in Metro Manila and the show has a different timeslot in the provinces.
And also, the episodes of Alyna in the provinces starting yesterday are one-day delayed, meaning...the episode shown in Manila yesterday will be watched only today by those from non-Manila regions. How complicated!
This was also the case of Shoutout before, but not anymore with the new timeslot.

While the Shoutout fans are okay with it, Alyna viewers from the provinces are against it.
A petition site has just been started today by someone representing the avid viewers of Alyna, requesting ABS-CBN to put back the show to its original timeslot 'coz they don't want 1-day delayed episodes of it.
The creator of that petition is from Cebu and according to him/her, what's being shown there at 5:15 is TV Patrol Central Visayas and Alyna is being aired after Malparida but with late episodes.
But the question is: Will ABS-CBN grant their request? 'coz the "1-day delayed" thing is being practiced for so long already by ABS-CBN Regional Network Group and the ABS-CBN in Manila is aware of it.
And the fact that it's being done for a long time already, that just means they really don't care if some viewers aren't satisfied with what ABS-CBN does with their shows in the provinces.
But who knows? Maybe that petition site might prompt ABS-CBN to take some actions which will favor all of its viewers nationwide.
You guys really love scandals! Another scandal has topped Mykiru's monthly roundup of the most popular posts, based on the number of views, and it's the alleged photo scandal of Ejay Falcon.
The 2-month-old John Lloyd Cruz-Shaina Magdayao alleged hospital scandal was still a hit for the month of November as the 2nd most popular post for the month.
November 2010 was supposed to be a month for the Miss Earth 2010 pageant in Vietnam, but not a single post about it made it to the Top 20.
Other posts who were "hit" last month were about Krista Kleiner, Angel Locsin, Pops Fernandez, Iya Villania, Anne Curtis, Mark Herras, Mara Clara's Albie Casiño and the newest teen show "Shoutout".
Just like in the previous years' Metro Manila Film Festival, Regal Films or Regal MultiMedia will have more than 1 official entries in the 2010 Metro Manila Film Festival, which runs December 25, 2010 to January 7, 2011. One is the Marian Rivera-starring "Super Inday and the Magic Bibe" and the other one is the trilogy Shake, Rattle & Roll XII (SRR 12).
"Super Inday and the Magic Bibe" is a remake of the 80's box office hit starring Maricel Soriano. And this time, Marian Rivera is the new Super Inday.
It marks Marian's first "solo" movie (where she gets solo top-billing) and will test her box office magic without banking on a loveteam.
Also part of this Mike Tuviera film are Jake Cuenca, Pokwang, John Lapus, Mylene Dizon, Jairus Aquino, Sheena Halili, Sabrina Man and Buboy Villar.
The Metro Manila Filmfest won't be complete without the horror trilogy Shake, Rattle & Roll. Now on its 12th installment, it stars 3 of today's teleserye leading ladies: Shaina Magdayao, Andi Eigenmann and Carla Abellana, who are all starring for the first time in an SRR movie.
Shaina leads cast of "Mamanyika" episode directed by Zoren Legaspi (his first in the movies). She is supported by Ricky Davao, Carmina Villaroel and Rita Avila.
Jerrold Tarog meanwhile directs "Punerarya" episode featuring Carla Abellana, Sid Lucero, Mart Escudero, Gaby dela Merced and Nash Aguas. (It's the 4th SRR for Mart and 3rd for Nash.)
The 3rd episode is directed by Topel Lee. Entitled "Isla Engkanto", whose cast includes Andi Eigenmann, Rayver Cruz, Regine Angeles, Kristel Moreno, Niña Jose and John Lapus (just like Mart, he's now on his 4th consecutive SRR movie).

A very strong Shaina Magdayao faced the media during the presscon held this afternoon for her new show "Precious Hearts Romances Presents: Alyna".
And as expected, press people grilled her with the malicious rumor linking her to an alleged "vag lock" scandal.
The said scandal allegedly had Shaina rushed to St. Luke's Medical Center in Quezon City (some allege it's in St. Luke's Global City in Fort Bonifacio) because her vag locked up while doing a deed with boyfriend John Lloyd Cruz. Allegedly, the doctor had to put an anaesthesia to their private parts to be unlocked.
As shown on ABS-CBN's TV Patrol tonight, Shaina strongly denied the rumor at the presscon held earlier. "Hindi po totoo 'yun. Nakakalungkot na mayroong mga tao na, Diyos ko, hindi ko alam kung saang parte ng isip nila nakuha 'yun. I think it's the most outrageous chismis sa industriya natin. Masyado yata syang nanonood ng Grey's Anatomy, ha ha ha!"
Shaina just labeled the issue as "nakakabastos" and "nakakababang klase ng chismis".
And to those people alleging that it did happen, Shaina dared them to show proofs. "May mga nagsasabi na-confine daw, may proof pa. Asan 'yung proof ninyo? Sa hi-tech na panahon natin, kung may picture dapat kumalat na. Kung na-rush ka sa E.R, 'di ba dapat mayroong mga form na dapat i-fill up, bayaran. Eh wala!"
I was actually expecting Shaina to cry 'coz it's no joke to be intrigued with that not so nice issue but she didn't. She strongly faced it and I admire her for that.
After labeling the John Lloyd Cruz and Shaina Magdayao alleged "locked up" scandal as one big lie last Sunday, Star Magic has a brand new statement released just today still denying the issue.
According to Star Magic, who manages John Lloyd and Shaina, the reports about the couple being stuck together and rushed to a hospital is just a hoax.
"Reports of a couple 'stuck' together and rushed to a hospital is obviously a hoax and the work of the sick minds. It is pitiful that some members of the entertainment and public would want to lend credence to this piece of black propaganda. We laugh at this latest attempt to popularize our artists and pray for the soul of the perpetrators," the statement says.
For the record, it's now the 3rd time that the John Lloyd and Shaina scandal has been denied by the Kapamilya network. First was last Thursday when Boy Abunda denied it on SNN (Read it HERE) then the second was on The Buzz last Sunday via a short statement from Star Magic.
I understand why they continue to make statements refuting the rumor because it has been going the rounds for 3 weeks now and despite their previous denials, it hasn't died down yet.
So probably they're hoping that their new statement will finally end the controversy.
And based on their statement, they just laugh on how people popularize their artists, so for sure, they somehow admit that the issue is helping them promote Shaina's upcoming show.

After Boy Abunda last Thursday, Star Magic is the latest to belie the very malicious rumor about its prime talents John Lloyd Cruz and Shaina Magdayao. According to Star Magic, it's very not true and The Buzz also included on its report about a statement from a hospital insider also denying that the couple were admitted there.
Yes, it was an unnamed insider from the hospital because no doctors or nurses or hospital staff would dare come out on TV just to deny it.
The report further stated that both Shaina and John Lloyd were at their respective taping, Shaina for "Alyna" and John Lloyd for "Imortal", during the alleged time of the incident and not together in a condo as speculated in the malicious reports.
I also asked my friend to ask her friend, who's close to Lloydie and works as a production assistant for "Imortal", about this issue and she also denied it. New couple John Lloyd Cruz and Shaina Magdayao are allegedly the couple being referred to in the "hospital scandal" rumor which broke out 2 weeks ago.
It actually started just a blind item at Pinoy Parazzi entitled "Hindi mahugot-hugot: Sikat na young couple, magkapatong na isinugod sa ospital?!"
According to the article, the (unnamed) couple allegedly were brought to a private hospital in QC because the boy's pen got stuck inside the girl's vag while having "6" in a condition called v*g*n*l captivus. So nasty and funny right?
But the more appropriate term is p*n*s captivus, which according to some case studies only happens in mating dogs. Wow!
And allegedly, they were rushed to the hospital with the boy or girl on top of each other and were covered by a blanket so as not to be recognized in that shameful incident.
John Lloyd and Shaina actually have nothing to react because it was only a blind item and it was the people who commented on the article naming them as the couple in the hospital scandal.
One commenter alleged that his/her friend's doctor friend at St. Luke's Medical Center confirmed that it indeed happened.
And tonight on SNN, Boy Abunda denied the rumor and said that it's very untrue.
Why is Boy the one denying the issue?
Boy didn't clarify if John Lloyd or Shaina was the one who told him it's not true, but he just simply denied it.
He asked SNN viewers not to believe the nasty rumor. With that, as a result, the world now knows the issue and will continue to speculate when in fact it was just a blind item not to be taken seriously.
ABS-CBN's ASAP XV had a very funny episode today, August 15, 2010, when it held its own Miss Universe pageant. The exotic Miss Kenya Melai Cantiveros was extremely...funny! And the other girls as well...such as: Pokwang as Miss Nepal, Cristine Reyes as Miss Chile, Nikki Gil as Miss Philippines, Sitti as Miss Ghana, Shaina Magdayao as Miss Hungary, Iya Villania as Miss Egypt, Karylle as Miss Russia and Anne Curtis as Miss Venezuela.

From the same producer and director of the 2000 hit family drama "Tanging Yaman", here comes another interesting family movie that will surely touch our hearts. Pero, interesting nga ba?
"Sa 'Yo Lamang" official movie poster has been released and a first look at it, the poster doesn't generate to me the desire to watch it.
It looks so plain and simple. There's nothing extra special about it. So maybe, it's just a light drama and not as heavy as "Tanging Yaman".
"Tanging Yaman" poster was better as it gave a hint that Gloria Romerio, as the matriarch, plays the central character of the story based on how she appears on the poster.
It's not the case though for "Sa 'Yo Lamang" because there's no emphasis on anyone, except that Bea Alonzo's name is emphasized and slightly bigger than Lorna Tolentino and Christopher De Leon's.
Good thing though that they've included Coco Martin and Enchong Dee in the cast. Both are crowd-drawers and "Sa 'Yo Lamang" marks Coco's first ever appearance in a mainstream movie.
Joining them are Zanjoe Marudo, Shaina Magdayao, Empress, Miles Ocampo and Diether Ocampo, with the special participation of Igi Boy Flores and Dominic Ochoa.
Interestingly, Shaina as a child star and Dominic in his early 20's were also part of "Tanging Yaman".
The main stars of "Rubi" led by Rubi herself (Angelica Panganiban) participated in the fashion event of Bench for the Philippine Fashion Week Holiday 2010 yesterday. Angelica and leading men Diether Ocampo and Jake Cuenca plus Shaina Magdayao, who are long time endorsers of Bench, strutted up the catwalk as a team, just like last year's Tayong Dalawa stars Gerald Anderson, Kim Chiu and Jake Cuenca.
Kim and Gerald did not participate on this year's Bench showcase for PFW Holiday.
