Twenty-four (24) candidates will compete for the Mutya Ng Pilipinas
2010 title on August 28 at the Resorts World Manila.
The candidate from East Coast USA (picture) is an early frontrunner, a big favorite for the title especially because of her impressive pageant portfolio.
19-year-old Christi Lynn "Ashley" McGarry who stands 5'11 already represented the Philippines in the Top Model of the World 2010
competition held last February in Germany. She placed there as a Top 15 semi-finalist.
Ashley was also Miss Teen Philippines-USA 2004 and a Teen Ambassadress to the Philippines in 2006.
In 2008, she competed in the Miss New Jersey Teen USA and finished 1st Runner Up.
And before Charice Pempengco graces the cover of Seventeen Magazine in the US this August, Ashley already did it on the mag's August 2007 issue.
An article by Ricky Lo says she is the daughter of Christopher McGarry, a former PBA Player for Magnolia.
