Admittedly hurt over what happened to him and his show Wowowee, Willie Revillame now wants to end his contract with ABS-CBN.
In a press conference, Willie was visibly hurt and unhappy with what happened, exposing that he and ABS-CBN already agreed early July that he will return hosting Wowowee on July 31.
Wow, the rumor's indeed true!
As reported on TV Patrol, Willie told the press that he was later informed by ABS-CBN via text third week of July that he will no longer host Wowowee because it will be replaced already by Pilipinas Win Na Win starting July 31. He also said that ABS-CBN wanted to give him a weekly pre-taped program on Studio 23, and obviously, it didn't sound good for Will.
Now Willie wants to end his contract with ABS-CBN, but the network refuses to grant his request.
According to a statement by ABS-CBN, the network is the aggrieved party thus it has the last decision whether to end Willie's contract or not. The statement also stressed that Willie has no right to end the contract because of his behavioral violation when in May 4, he threatened to resign if ABS-CBN won't fire Jobert Sucaldito. It was disrespect, says ABS-CBN.
With that, the former Wowowee host has no choice but to abide by the contract which is valid until September 2011.

I can sense that the two parties gonna end up in a court battle soon.
There are rumors that Willie is supposed to do a show for TV5, that's why he reportedly wants to be released from ABS-CBN.
